Overview
All Writease subscriptions — Pro (Monthly) and Pro (Annual) — are purchased entirely through in-app purchase on the iOS App Store or Google Play Store. By completing a purchase, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy. Please read it carefully before subscribing.
No-Refund Policy on Paid Periods
Once a subscription payment has been processed — whether for a monthly or annual plan — that billing period is non-refundable. This applies regardless of:
- How much of the subscription period has been used.
- Whether you actively used the app during that period.
- A decision to switch to a different plan or stop using the app.
- A change of mind after purchase.
For example, if you subscribe to an Annual plan and decide after one month that you no longer wish to continue, you will not receive a refund for the remaining months. Your access will continue until the end of the paid annual period.
Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your subscription at any time directly from within the Writease app. Cancelling means:
- Your access continues until the end of the current billing period you have already paid for.
- You will not be charged again once the billing period ends.
- No partial refund is issued for the remaining unused time in the current period.
For instance, if you are on a monthly plan and cancel mid-month, you retain full access to Pro features until the end of that month. After that, your account reverts to the Free plan automatically.
Exceptions
We may consider a refund on a case-by-case basis only in the following circumstances:
- You were charged twice for the same subscription period due to a technical error.
- A subscription was renewed automatically after you had already cancelled, due to a platform processing error.
To raise an exception request, contact us within 7 days of the charge at info@writease.co with your order details and a description of the issue.
App Store & Google Play Billing Disputes
While subscriptions are managed directly within the Writease app, payments are still processed by Apple or Google. If you believe you have been incorrectly charged at the platform level, you may contact them directly:
- Apple App Store: Raise a billing dispute at reportaproblem.apple.com
- Google Play Store: Dispute a charge through the Google Play order history in your Google account.
Writease does not have the ability to issue refunds directly for charges processed by these platforms.
